"Power" series continues at Faith This Sunday we are looking at "Power with God" The backdrop for this series is the book of Micah.  Micah was a prophet in the Old Testament from the country, he was a rural person called to the city and an urban setting.  This week my emphasis is going to shift from the ability God gives us, to a powerful relationship with God. How can I have a powerful relationship with God? Do what the Lord requires of you.  Micah was pointing out in his prophecy that the people of Israel were not doing what God had commanded them. Here is my rough outline: Personal Integrity-doing the right thing "To do justly" Relational Ingtegrity-to be the right person in relation to others "To love mercy" Spiritual Integrity-to have a vital relationship with God "To walk humbly with your God" Miss the first message in this series? Click here to view first message

We need subs for our classes at Faith Missionary  of the week:Steve and Rhonda Nicholes - Word of Life Korea Please pray for Susan Kelly in the loss of her sister College and Career had nine students for their first meeting ​Backyard Lights outreach group is now being lead by Thom Burnette and Dennis McHenry they meet every Wednesday night in the Fellowship Room The Communion Service was wonderful last Sunday night The church received a gift in honor of Steve and Murray All for all their efforts for Christ in our church Men's Prayer Breakfast this Saturday 7 AM Continue to pray for the Chesleys our church pioneers in West Virginia Thanks to Peggy Doyle who started serving as a hall monitor last Sunday Joshua Steward and family will be with us Sunday Night at  6 PM they are missionaries to Ireland Major Changes on Wednesday Nights at Faith The Action Team is being split into two separate groups Preschool, first and second grade will meet in preschool building taught by Melissa Riley Third, fourth and fifth grade will meet in children's building taught by Ann Woodward Sixth graders will now attend teen group on Wednesday night College and Career meet at John Burnham's home

Jeff Riley our new associate is getting settled in, you can tell from the pics he is a huge Georgia Bulldog fan.  I now have a place to take a nap in the afternoon. :)  Welcome aboard Jeff looking forward to working with you in the days ahead.
