This Sunday morning we continue in our series "Home".  This week I will be looking atHome: A Place Where We Find Relationship  In this series we are discussing how God uses His church to grow our faith.  Was there someone that God placed in your life that was a key reason your faith grew?  As we reflect on our faith journey we often identify these key players who made all the difference in the world.  Who was it that made that important difference?   Are you that person in someone else's life?  Do you want to be?  Join us as talk about relationships that make a huge difference in the growth of our faith. 7.28.13   A Place Where we find relationship (Relationships) Billy  8.4.13     A Place Where we experience life   (Circumstances) Billy  Are We Determined? 1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by fourmen. 4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. 5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you." Mark 2:1-5 (NKJV)  11 I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house." 12 Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!" Mark 2:11-12 (NKJV)  Jeff Riley will be preaching this Sunday night, plan to join us as he teaches on this exciting passage of scripture. What an absolutely amazing week!!! Words can not express my gratitude for the number of volunteers that put in countless hours to make VBS happen! Most importantly I stand amazed at what God has done this week through VBS. We had a total of 19 children accept Christ as Savior is week. Sunday we had 188 in attendance, Monday 195, Tuesday 177, Wednesday 196, and tonight 189! Indeed we serve an Awesome God (Thanks everybody!!!)-Jeff After a week of VBS, I am completely amazed by the almost thirty fifth and sixth graders I got to be a crew leader to. I enjoyed every day and wouldn't change a single minute of the whole experience. Those kids made such a big impact on my life as I hope the week made an impact on theirs.  (Amber is a college student who attends Faith)

Our church anniversary celebration is the second Sunday in September, mark your calendar  Thanks to Steve Mercer for cutting the grass this month at church Please pray for Sue Crowder who broke her leg Please pray for the family of Rylie Drummond, the little boy who died from injuries he received in an auto accident, we will be receiving a love offering for the family on Sunday, July 28th Membership Class 201 on Sunday August 11, interested in Faith? find out how you can become a part of what God is doing here at Faith, please contact church office VBS Facebook page Jacob Montgomery is planning a special outreach to our community read the church bulletin if you would like to help this young man reach our area for Christ On Saturday, August 10th, a crew from FBC will go to Rainelle, WV to help missionary John Wyatt complete work on a food pantry for their area.  If you are interested in participating, please see Katrina Bradberry or Sandra Maydian.  Also, please drop off any type of dry goods in the boxes located in the front lobby to help stock the pantry.  Monetary donations will also be accepted.  Thank you for help with this missionary outreach. Vacation Bible School Begins This Sunday

This Sunday morning we continue in our series "Home".  This week I will be looking at Home: A Place Where We Serve (Ministry).  In this series we are discussing how God uses His church to grow our faith.  Have you ever been asked to volunteer in the church?  Did it frighten you?  Did it make you nervous?  Did it cause you to pray?  God often uses ministry opportunities to stretch us and grow our faith.  This week we will be looking at the feeding of the five thousand and how Jesus grew the faith of his followers through this experience.    7.28.13   A Place Where we find relationship (Relationships) Billy  8.4.13     A Place Where we experience life   (Circumstances) Billy  Our VBS series begins this Sunday.  This is the series I will be leading during Vacation Bible School we will be meeting each night from 6-7 PM in the Man Cave.  This is the first year we have had an adult class in many years hope you will join us as we take a fresh look at the famous story of the Prodigal Son Vacation Bible School begins this Sunday at 6 PM    July 21-25 6-8:30 pm   Ages: 2yrs-6th grade                       (Adult study will be in the Man Cave with Pastor Billy 6-7pm) This Sunday all Sunday School Teachers will have registration forms for your children to register for V.B.S. Please have them register early to avoid the long lines on the first night of the school.
