We will have no Sunday School that day, but will provide nurseries, pre-school class and children's church.
Both praise teams are singing along with both children's choirs and the adult choir.  Bill Biggs and Karen Bradberry will be singing a special Easter Song.

Hope you will plan to join us and bring your friends and neighbors.

(Please  note: No Sunday Evening service this Sunday)

Have you ever noticed that you have a longing in your heart for something?   You aren't quite sure what, but their is a restlessness in your soul. You try many different things to fill the void but nothing works.  Could that longing actually be a longing for God?

The title of my message is "The Walking Dead"

I will be preaching this Sunday morning from:

24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.      Matthew 16:24-27 (NKJV)

Here is my outline

1.  Finding my soul (24)

2.  Losing my soul (25)

3. Saving my soul (26-27)

Our key thought is:

MY SOUL IS TOO VALUABLE TO LOSE

How the events of Easter impact our everyday lives in a powerful way!

This Sunday I will be looking at the voices we hear as we travel through the valley of despair.

Voices In The Valley

43 He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He will have Him; for He said, 'I am the Son of God.' "   Matthew 27:43 (NKJV)

We are going to journey to the cross this Sunday morning and listen to the voices that taunted Jesus while He was on the cross.  Voices that we too hear when we go through a difficult time.  Are you going through a hard time?  Does your life seem out of control?  Who are you listening to?

Join us as we look at what we should and should not listen to when we find ourselves in the valley.

This Sunday night Jeff Riley will be bringing a message on God's Demonstrative Love from Romans 5:1-11

8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 (NKJV)
