     Sunday November 27

How can we flesh out our motto which is "Connecting People with God, Others and Service?  The series continues this Sunday, November 27.   I will be looking at one of our core values, "Connecting People to Others".  I will be looking at a passage found in the book of Acts.  In chapter six the early church was faced with a crisis, as the church had grown some people were feeling neglected.  We face the same challenge at Faith.  How can we help people feel connected?

"Despite ever-present cell phones and WiFi connectivity, the interpersonal infrastructure of America is weakening.  Lifestyles are busy.  We don't mean to, but it's getting harder and harder to keep relational connections, and we are suffering for it."
God has wired us for connection. Our health and our happiness depend on it to thrive.--Catherine Webber

This Sunday night Harry Newman will be bringing a message entitled Revival.  He will be looking at the great need we have for revival both as individuals and churches.

Hope you can join us this Sunday night @ 6 PM

Happy Thanksgiving

     Sunday November 20

New Sermon Series by Billy and Chris  (This series will continue through Sunday December 11)   How can we flesh out our motto which is "Connecting People with God, Others and Service?  The series continues this Sunday, November 20.   I will be looking at one of our core values, "Connecting People to God".  There is a famous character in the Bible and even had a song written about his encounter with Christ.  He is famous for being short and climbing trees.  Have you guessed?  Zacheus is his name and we will be using him as a model of someone who connected with God through Christ.  This week's message will contain a clear presentation of the gospel message.  If you have a lost friend, co-worker or neighbor this would be a good time to bring him.

This Sunday night Chris will be bringing a message entitled "Salvation 101".  He will be looking at the relationship between faith and works in the book of James and Romans.

Hope you can join us this Sunday night @ 6 PM

Bitter To Better
A critical spirit . . .
Ø  Can hinder my spiritual progress
Ø  Can make me unattractive to others
Ø  Can be a defense mechanism
Ø  Can make me hard-hearted

The price for a critical spirit is too high to pay, hope you can join us this Sunday night @ 6 PM

This Sunday night we will gather around the Lord's Table, I hope you can be a part of this special time here at Faith.   Chris will be bringing a message before the communion entitled, "A Day In The Life Of A Disciple".   Hope you can join us this Sunday night at 6 PM

THANKS

Trunk or Treat was a great outreach into our community.  Due to the unusally cold weather it was necessary to hold it inside.  This created a lot of extra work for all the volunteers.  I just wanted to thank everyone for their extra effort in making everthing move smoothly, many folks from our community visited that night and hundreds of gospel tracts were distributed.   Thanks to all who donated candy, hours of work and prayers for this event.  It was packed as the hallways were crowded, but everyone seemed to have a great time and many people where on our campus for the first time.
