     Sunday November 13

New Sermon Series by Billy and Chris  (This series will continue through Sunday December 11) We will be looking for "vital signs" that a church is alive and well.  We would like to take the pulse of our church.   As we face 2012 how can be sure Faith is headed in the right direction?  How can we flesh out our motto which is "Connecting People with God, Others and Service?  The series will begin this Sunday November 13.   Chris will be giving us an overview from the book of Acts.   There are 84 churches in our area, many of them are struggling, as are churches all over America.  How can you tell when a church is alive and well? Hope you can join us as we cast a vision for where our church is going.

This Sunday night I will finish my sermon series, CSI:Critical Spirit Investigation.
Bitter To Better
A critical spirit . . .
Ø  Can hinder my spiritual progress
Ø  Can make me unattractive to others
Ø  Can be a defense mechanism
Ø  Can make me hard-hearted

The price for a critical spirit is too high to pay, hope you can join us this Sunday night @ 6 PM

THANKS

To all our volunteers who took care of our coffee table during the recent elections.

Almost 600 people visited our church campus during  the election, each was offered a cup of coffee and church literature.

Our missionary Dorcas Williams taught our children last Sunday while her husband Doug was preaching to the Adults, the children really enjoyed her visit.

We met Tuesday night with a representive from Hughes and Assoc. the firm we have selected to do our master plan for the new property.  Please pray for our building team as we begin this important journey to more effective facilites for the Faith family.

The Thanksgiving service is at our church this year, it should be a really special service, Karen Knight will be presenting a drama and music program, she was formerly with Sight & Sound.  The service will be on Tuesday, November 22 at 7 PM.  The presentation is being sponsored by New Hope Baptist Church.
