Keeping the Faith Family in the Loop

photo.pngTom Keller, dentist, who is going as  a missionary to Mongolia will be with us in the PM service this Sunday (6 PM).   Come and hear about this unique dental outreach.  Here is a link to his web site if you would like to learn more about his ministry    Mongolia For Christ

  • Membership class 201 has been moved to February, please call the church office for details.
  • 2011 has gotten off to a good start at Faith in spite of the bad weather, we have had really good attendance considering the weather conditions
  • We have already set aside $3,500.00 for our missionaries this year!
  • We have almost broken the $100,000.00 barrier in our fund raising for the property across the street.
  • Please pray for the many folks in our church who are facing serious illness.
  • Have you ever considered putting your talent to work for the Lord?  Do you sing?  Our choir meets each Sunday evening at 5:30 in the children's building.  There is always a devotion, singing and a special bond that develops among choir members.  If interested contact John Burnham.
  • Chris Chesley's office is now located in the old church library across from the church office.

January is traditionally the month we look back and reflect, but we also look forward and plan.  We have been given a brand new year in which to live and we want to use the resources God has given to us wisely.  We are in a sermon series that challenges us to be good managers of what God has entrusted to us.  Join us this Sunday as we continue in this series.  This Sunday Chris will zero in on our family and our responsibility to that family God has entrusted to us.

Matthew 6:27-34 (NIV)
27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
28 "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
