02.22.12

 This Sunday  At Faith . . .

We will begin our new sermon series this Sunday morning.  In this series we are looking at five major purposes for our lives.

  • We were planned for God’s pleasure, so your first purpose is to offer real worship.
  • We were formed for God’s family, so your second purpose is to enjoy real fellowship.
  • We were created to become like Christ, so your third purpose is to learn real discipleship.
  • We were shaped for serving God, so your fourth purpose is to practice real ministry.
  • We were made for a mission, so your fifth purpose is to live out real evangelism.

  • The core pupose around which all the others circle is pleasing God.  How do I please God?  I worship Him, but this is much more than a service or a style of music.  I will focus on Noah, because the Bible tells us that he pleased God.  Are you pleasing God?  How do you know?  Join us this Sunday to find out the Biblical way to please God and thus fulfill the core purpose of your life.

Guess who was surprised on his 60th birthday in the Victory Bible Class?

We were all shocked by a sudden snow storm Sunday (8+ inches).  We had to cancel our Sunday night service, but we were able to enjoy the ministry of Larry Johnson in both of the morning services.
     Hope to see you Sunday
