"The church is good at telling the rest of the world what it should not do. But its vision for a positive direction is often missing."-Charles Ringma

Sometimes people see the church as the world's policeman, making sure everyone does what is right and if anyone does disobey the law letting them know about right away.  What is often missing is the perception that we are here to show the love of Christ to the lost and dying world.  I am so thankful to pastor a church that is making real efforts to communicate this love.

  • The children's ministry is sponsoring a shoe drive for those less fortunate.
  • The Backyard Lights group is collecting winter coats for those who need them.
  • The Mexico Mission (M&M) is preparing for another trip to aid deaf children in Mexico
  • Trunk or Treat is not to honor Halloween but to provide a safe place for children ( we have more non-churched people visit our campus than at any other time in the year)
  • I don't have space to mention all the visits to the nursing home, services at the jail, services at the nursing home, meals for those who are grieving, there is a lot we are doing to show the love of Christ
Are we perfect?  NO! But our  church is making an honest effort to impact lives for Christ.

40 And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'                        Matthew 25:40 (NKJV)

This Sunday Faith has chosen to honor the pastoral staff.  The whole staff would like to thank you for your kindness.  It is a privilege serving the "Faith Family".   Remember no Sunday night service in order to give the pastors the entire day off.
