This Sunday night the Christmas season begins at Faith with our Christmas Communion, hope you can join us for this very special time.
The church office was broken into over the Thanksgiving holiday, cash was taken but there was no damage to the building. Please help us keep the church secure, if you use the building during the week please be sure and lock the building. Thanks
The church approved the new 2013 budget last Sunday night, here are some of the highlights of the new budget . . .
*The church voted to take on Chris and Leann Chesley as our mission team for 2013 we will be using mission team monthly support for one year as they start a new church in Beckley West Virginia
*We have over $10,000 in mission team fund for any trips taken in 2013 (Caleb Vance from our church is headed to Turkey in 2013)
*We voted to support Bill and Vicki White from our mission retirement fund for $75.00 a month, support for Grace Bible Camp will continue at the same amount
*WRE joined our regular mission family at 1/2 % support, our mission support level is now at 21.5% of our total income
*The breakdown of the new budget is as follows:
$5,938.00 weekly
$25,731.00 monthly
$308,772.00 yearly
In my world. . .
- This year's Christmas offering will go to Jamey Smith and needy families in our area, Jamey is preparing for mission work in Honduras, we will split the offering
- Christmas card baskets are back in the front lobby
- Deacon on Deck for December:Steve All 968-1040
- Christmas is upon us please keep check of the church calendar for events that might affect you
- Missionary of the week: Ernie and Hilda Harmon
- Church was decorated this week for Christmas
- Jeff Riley our new associate pastor begins work next week, Chris will be training him in December before leaving on January 1
- We had a good response to Grow U and our Sunday night attendance actually improved, thanks to everyone who made this possible
- Victory Bible Class our Christmas dinner is Wednesday night December 19 at Best Western cost is $10 a person
