Faith Connection: Mission Trip is almost here

This Sunday morning we continue in our series "Home". Throughout this series we have been looking at the church as a place where we grow our faith. We have talked about many different facets of the church's input into the growth process. This week we are looking at the subject, "A Place Where I Experience Life". It is often through our life experiences that our faith does much of its growing. The church can be a valuable ally in helping us grow through these experiences. Have you ever gone through a difficult time and wondered how people who didn't have a church family made it? Join us this Sunday as we discuss the church our home as a place where we experience life together.

²³For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; ²⁴and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." 1 Corinthians 11:23-24 (NKJV)

Jeff will be bringing a message from this passage found in the Bible and leading us in communion.

Jacob Montgomery is planning a special outreach to our community read the church bulletin if you would like to help this young man reach our area for Christ

On Saturday, August 10^th, a crew from FBC will go to Rainelle, WV to help missionary John Wyatt complete work on a food pantry for their area. If you are interested in participating, please see Katrina Bradberry or Sandra Maydian. Also, please drop off any type of dry goods in the boxes located in the front lobby to help stock the pantry. Monetary donations will also be accepted. Thank you for help with this missionary outreach.
