Jeff Riley will be preaching this Sunday morning on "How To Have Victory!" from 1 John 5:1-4.

1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith. 1 John 5:1-4 (NKJV)

This Sunday we gather around the Lord's Table. I will bring a message entitled "A Bloody Ear". The blood of Christ not only redeems us but also sets us apart for His service.

23 and Moses killed it. Also he took some of its blood and put it on the tip of Aaron's right ear, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot. Leviticus 8:23 (NKJV)
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.'
Leviticus 17:11 (NKJV)

The church recently purchased a new mower.  Jeff Riley sold it to the church from his former lawn care business.  Jeff is going to provide a training session for all those interested in getting up to speed on operating this new mower.  Anyone interested contact Jeff.  We still have spots open in August for the grass cutting schedule.  Thanks to  all our volunteers who keep the lawn looking so nice.
The excitement was high at Covington High School as we gathered for our Easter service.  It was a great day in spite of the rain.  The crowd was great, the service was blessed with great music from our music ministry here at Faith.  How we thank our God for blessing us with such a wonderful day.  Thanks to all who worked so hard to make this day a reality and to all who made the effort to come and bring visitors.  I truly believe God was honored on that day.
