Harry Newman will be speaking this Sunday morning from 1 Thessalonians chapters 4 and 5. In his sermon Harry is asking three important questions
Are you ready?
Are you sure?
Are you lost?
17 After that, we who are still alive will be gathered up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And we will be with the Lord forever. 18 So encourage each other with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 (NCV)37 YEARS AGO TODAY, AUGUST 3, 1975 FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH WAS BORN. THANK THE LORD FOR 37 YEARS OF HIS GRACE AND MERCY. I PRAY GOD'S RICHEST BLESSINGS UPON OUR CHURCH FAMILY AS WE CONTINUE THIS JOURNEY TOGETHER. GOD BLESS YOU AND THANKS FOR BEING A PART OF FAITH.
Sunday night (6 PM)
COMMUNION This Sunday night we will be gathering our church family together to meet at the Lord's Table. Communion is such an important time in the life of the believer. Before we worship the Lord through the communion I will be sharing a few thoughts on "Communion Adjustment". One of the reasons communion is so vital to the Christian is that it helps us adjust our course spiritually. Sometimes in our Christian journey we allow our inside to get out of synch with our outside. We appear to be something on the outside while we are really something quite different on the inside. Jesus once referred to the Pharisees as graves. The outside of the grave was a smooth green manicured lawn, but inside it was full of death and corruption. We can drift into the trap of artificiality without even knowing it. Communion can be a vital tool that God uses in our life. As we examine ourselves and our relationship with God we become acutely aware of the inconsistency between what we profess on the outside and what we really are on the inside. Hopefully and prayerfully this leads us to repentance and prayer. Are you ready for an adjustment?
We would like to send out a special Happy Birthday to our church secretary Sis. Staria who is celebrating her 40th 18 year old birthday. :) All jokes aside we appreciate all Sis. Staria does for Faith she has served in the church office for 28 years

Several of the teens from our church provided music for Teenweek 2012, thank God for using our teens in this vital ministry. Pray for our teens many are getting invovled in Bible distribution in our schools through the Gideon organization.
We love our volunteers at Faith, we couldn't do what we do without all the faithful workers who give of themselves for the work of the Lord. Here Dennis McHenry is painting the Sparklers Sunday School class.
Last week Brenda Craft was hard at it weeding the church flower beds.
We thank all of our faithful volunteers who serve the cause of Christ here at Faith.
