Keeping the Faith Family in the Loop
This Sunday ______________________________ Join us this Sunday. . . many of the great truths of the Bible simply make no sense to the culture we live in and in this series we want to present these truths in a way that will help you understand the Biblical viewpoint of life and why it seems like “Madness” to our world. Join us as we take a closer look at some of the important truths of the Christian Faith. This Sunday Chris will be discussing the madness of sin. The Madness of Sin 03.13.11 The Madness of Salvation 03.20.11 The Madness of Holiness 03.27.11 Join us this Sunday for a very special service as we will be baptizing two young men following the second service. ______________________________ This Sunday Night Conclusion Balancing the Christian Life (The Four “Ds” of a Balanced Christian Life) 1. Dedication that you present your bodies a living sacrifice Romans 12:1 (NKJV) 2. Discipline But if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. Romans 8:13 3. Dependence I say then, walk by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.Galatians 5:16 4. Development But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7 (HCSB) _____________________________ Around Faith
______________________________ Praise God this year we will have people all over the world in Missions, here are the locations
These are all short term mission trips from within our congregation. Get involved! Pray, give or go! Hope to see you this Sunday. Bro. Billy Romans 12:1-10 (HCSB) 1 Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. 3 For by the grace given to me, I tell everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he should think. Instead, think sensibly, as God has distributed a measure of faith to each one. 4 Now as we have many parts in one body, and all the parts do not have the same function, 5 in the same way we who are many are one body in Christ and individually members of one another. 6 According to the grace given to us, we have different gifts: If prophecy, use it according to the standard of faith; 7 if service, in service; if teaching, in teaching; 8 if exhorting, in exhortation; giving, with generosity; leading, with diligence; showing mercy, with cheerfulness. 9 Love must be without hypocrisy. Detest evil; cling to what is good. 10Show family affection to one another with brotherly love. Outdo one another in showing honor. |
